International Yoga Day - Yoga Gear

Originating from India, Yoga is a mental, spiritual and physical practice to transform the body and mind through meditation. The roots of Yoga can be traced back to over 5,000 years ago, but its popularity recently skyrocketed! There are more than 36 million yogis in US today, with a 50% increase from 2012 to 2016. The main reasons for its rapid expansion are to alleviate stress and improve flexibility.

With Yoga becoming a worldwide movement, it is no surprise that there would be a special day to celebrate the practice. International Yoga Day falls on June 21st annually, started by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015.
